I'm Rob Gale and I am  passionate about the great outdoors. As an International Mountain Leader, climbing instructor and cave leader I have been leading individuals and groups in UK and worldwide mountainous environments for 40 years. 

I am lucky to be able to split my year between bases in the Yorkshire Dales and the Chamonix valley, in the French Alpes. Summers are spent leading hiking groups in the French Alps, Dolomites in Italy, Switzerland, Austria and other amazing mountain areas. Though increasingly also in the UK with day and multi-day walks across the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District, Scotland and even further south. Winters may see me ski touring or leading snowshoe activities in the Alps or enjoying the beauty of cold crisp winter walking in the UK, particularly on my doorstep, the famous Yorkshire Three Peaks.
