Early 2022 travel update: We are open for bookings!!
During the pandemic, we’ve listened to the stories and situations of clients whose lives, businesses and plans have been changed due to catastrophes brought on by Covid19. We ourselves have had to cancel so much of our business, postponing guided visits and expeditions, whether due to the restrictions we’ve seen placed on travel between countries or limitations on the numbers within groups who can walk together in the great outdoors.
It’s been so disappointing to see people’s dreams, personal targets and plans be postponed or cancelled. But the key to conquer all is resilience. As a result, we decided to reposition our work and focus. If we can’t take you out on the mountains, then we can bring the mountains to you, empowering you to reach new heights of competency in an outdoor environment. We’re developing endurance training and skills programmes that are fit for anyone who wants to achieve more and you’ll be able to complete the training direct from your living room, garden or local park, getting you prepped and ready for that forthcoming expedition.
Covid has brought restrictions in the amount we can enjoy the outdoors, but at the same time, it’s reinforced how much we really need to enjoy our external environment for mental, physical and spiritual reasons. So we decided to launch a set of guides, top tips and free online resources to give you the skills and knowledge to enjoy your external surroundings safely. We’re also launching online training sessions to help you with some of the best navigation and outdoor skills out there. We may not be physically present but we can still guide you step by step on your journey of personal development. Watch this space for more online resources coming soon.
In addition, to bring a little more personal experience, given the difficulties in travelling abroad, we’re guiding clients to help them get the most from the UK and find the next best equivalents of what they may have had planned, right on our British doorstep. We’ve rediscovered Yorkshire and would love to help you do the same. In addition, we’ve teamed up with one of the UK’s leading mountainboard and bike parks to tap into their 27 acre indoor/outdoor facilities, on private grounds in Cheshire, where we can teach and practice the latest outdoor techniques in a socially distanced environment. With a ski and board lift, jumps and walks and plenty of space to plan routes and set off from base camp at Harthill Adventure Park, you can jump straight onto a board, a bike or into boots. You can do our on-site training and be ready to head straight off site to do the sandstone trail, all within governments guidelines, yet still within the open countryside.
